Runcorn ovarian cancer survivor from Glenwood, Norton Cross, launches bid to save lives

A RUNCORN woman who beat ovarian cancer is campaigning for better awareness of the disease.
Kay Alexander, of Norton, has teamed up with a nail varnish company to promote the scheme.
Throughout March the 54-year-old mum is wearing Lena White ‘Opi Ski Teal We Drop’ nail varnish and has urged other Halton women to join in.
The cosmetics firm has agreed to donate £1 to the charity Ovacome for every bottle of teal tips it sells in March.
Kay said her own battle with the disease made her realise there was a need to raise awareness.
Read her story in tomorrow’s Runcorn Weekly News.
